Armin van Buuren – Feels So Good (feat. Nadia Ali) : Sala Polivalenta – Romania 15-10-2011
Interpreta originara din Pakistan – Nadia Ali, nu a putut veni in concertul lui Armin van Buuren de la Sala Polivalenta. Mno, poate o vom vedea intr-un Armin Only “MIRAGE”, in 2012 in Romania, asa cum ne-a promis dj olandez, la finalul concertului
Cu toate acestea, l-a insotit pe Armin sambata trecuta, prin intermediul unei proiectii interesante, intr-una din cele mai bune piese ale anului 2011, dupa parerea mea.
Nadia Ali – When it Rains (Official Music Video)
O putem numi “Queen of Clubs” – dupa numele unui album din 2010.
What a mark carved on my heart
I was struck by cupid’s darts
Hit so fast I did not see
Before I knew, love captured me
Believe me this was not my choice
I did my best to quite the noise
Will ever he know what he’s done?
The depth in which this potion runs
When it rains, it pours down
It won’t stop from coming now
One step closer to the flood
I am all drowned in your love
Every dawn gives way to dusk
With each story endings come
With the ticking of the clock
I long for another touch
Could I have known this fate at all?
I did not know I’d get caught up
Every sunset brings forth light
And soon enough my sun will rise
Heaven knows this only the beginning
I can all ready see where this is heading
Armin van Buuren feat. Nadia Ali – Feels So Good (the making of)
Without ever making the music lose its distinctive trance character, Armin van Buuren released an album bursting with diversity. “MIRAGE“ has set forth a sound that doesn’t let itself be caught in a one-style corner. Singles “Full Focus“, “Not Giving Up On Love“, “This Light Between Us” and “Drowning” all caused different impact, but exploding the global dancefloors they did.
The 5-th single taken from “Mirage”, is another new story to be told. For “Feels So Good”, Armin invited the vocal queen of EDM – NADIA ALI. Her seductive voice still warms the crowds, years after her IIO classic “Rapture“ first shattered across the arena’s and clubs. For Armin’s “Shivers“ album in 2005, she rocked the powerful “Who Is Watching?”, now followed by a more playful “Feels So Good” 6 years later. Rapturous as always, Nadia’s voice seductively flirts with a heavy but teasing bassguitar, laidback beat and electric melody. Sweeping you off your feet from first play on, you’ll be hooked to “Feels So Good” in no time.
To make “Feels So Good’”suit the peak-time moments on the floor, Armin didn’t only bring a warm but techy-edged club mix of the original himself, but also invited Jerome Isma-Ae, Jochen Miller and Tristan Garner to the party. Jerome Isma-Ae did what he does best: deliver a remix with a bouncy progressive-house touch, layered with soothing melodies. Jochen Miller, mostly known for his tougher takes at remix duties, reveals his softer side. Jochen focuses on the instrumental part, adding a melodramatic touch without making “Feels So Good” lose its feel-good sound. Last but not least, French producer Tristan Garner delivers a sexy and exotic remix, build around heavy drums and melody, rhythmic in every way.
A sexy and seductive track should of course be complimented with a music video of the same caliber. Well, get ready to discover the fancy Hotel des Indes, where Nadia Ali and Armin set the stakes high…
